  • To increase and facilitate communication about crucial issues that pertain to distance learning as it relates to two-year college mathematics students, faculty, programs, and curricula.
  • To facilitate a sharing and networking of ideas on distance learning through the AMATYC web site and listserv.
  • To create a listing of current practices of DL mathematics courses.
  • To encourage, coordinate, and support presentations on distance learning at AMATYC and other conferences.
